North Lampung, May 8–9, 2025 — Yayasan Nusantara Sejati (YNS) and partners from Koso Nippon met with the Regent of North Lampung to discuss plans for replicating the Program Review in the district. The audience on May 8, 2025, was also attended by Mr. Rohim Pauzi, S.H., M.M., Head of Research and Development at the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda).
During the meeting, the North Lampung government expressed its readiness to implement the Program Review this year and will soon form a regional implementation committee. YNS and Koso Nippon will provide technical assistance throughout the implementation process to ensure it aligns with the local context.
As a follow-up, an initial coordination meeting was held in a hybrid format on May 9, 2025, between Bappeda, the Koso Nippon team, and YNS in Jakarta. The meeting discussed the initial work plan and explored potential programs to be reviewed. Several programs have already been identified, though further discussions with the relevant technical departments are still required.
This first step marks a shared commitment to introducing more inclusive and evidence-based evaluations of development programs in North Lampung.
